Polyvinylchloride is more commonly known by its abbreviated name PVC.
It is the oldest and most common plastic, being used in many branches of the industry as well as in daily life. Contrary to popular belief, this plastic that comes from the thermoplastic group is easily cement able, fusible, repeatedly reshape- able under heat, and highly recyclable. Scrap PVC may be recycled.
